Above are a few pictures of some current projects. The yellow 'thing' is a one string diddly bo with a lipstick pickup and a modified condensed milk tin!. will be interesting to see how this works out..... The Jazz bass is finally progressing. I bought a commercial neck for this, purely because it was a beautiful bit of wood. The body is american white Ash and if quite heavy. I believe this will help give the instrument a very solid response with some natural compression, we will see!
I am currently re drawing the strat plan in the modern style of Elite Guitar Plans. I think its a better format and has been well received. There is also a new Lapsteel plan out soon, the Gibson EH100. This is a very simple to build model and is basically a stripped down EH150 but with a solid body. Looking very 'period'!
I am planning on reversing some of the more common designs in our plans range into 'lefty' format, due to fairly consistent requests. There's also a Hofner Violin bass plan in the pipeline and maybe even the Nautilus guitar.
