John Anthony Guitars is a small business based in North Yorkshire specialising in the Art of Luthiery and design, producing scale plans for self builders.
We are very much a niche business and try to offer something unique and special to our customers.
John the founder of John Anthony Guitars played and produced his own music from the age of 18. He started building guitars nearly 40 years ago and progressed steadily into all kinds and types of stringed instruments, many of them feature in the Elite Guitar Plans range. He was responsible for ALL the JAG products including the famous Baytone guitar pickup design range, fretboard and decals, plans and art work, CBG products etc.
Sadly John recently passed away and the famous Baytone Guitar pickups will no longer be available. Sandra his wife and business partner will however be carrying on the Elite Guitar Plan Range, thus
ensuring Johns designs still continue to give pleasure to self builders everywhere.

Danny is married to John and Sandra's eldest daughter, Sarah and so keeping it in the family!
